Sheffield Short Story Competition
We all like short story competitions, right? Well, here you'll find short story competitions run by Sheffield Writer. I intend to run a few competitions a year, culminating in a big competition to coincide with the Off the Shelf Festival, so keep checking back for details. It might also be a good idea to sign up to my newsletter, or follow me on twitter or join the group on Facebook.
The winner of each competition will win a free retreat place, whilst second and third placed stories will get a 50% reduction in the cost of a place on a 1-day retreat. All stories will be featured on the Sheffield Writer website and may be read at Scribble. Furthermore, all entries will be eligible for inclusion in a short story collection that I plan to e-publish once a year.
A list of the rules can be found here. Please take the time to read through these rules before submitting your entry.
